Content Management Systems
I can build you a site driven by a powerful CMS or content management system.
What's that? A CMS is a back-end for a website that makes it easy for you to create template-based sites, and manage your content.
Two great examples are Wordpress and Joomla,
both free, open source software, and powerful back-ends for awesome websites.

More Blogs
Another blog CMS I use is BlazeBlogger, such as
this blazeblog, Chronicles of Jedi Master Tazman, hosted on the server here in my office.
There are dozens of back-ends for blogs, and I can get them up and working for you. Of course, as is the case with 7Lampstands, and other sites, WordPress can be used as a full-scale CMS, for a lot more than just blogging.
Wordpress, BlazeBlogger, and other "blog" backends really lend themselves to building more than just blogs, too.
Wikis
Then there are wiki tools, such as pmwiki, used on the baldwinsoftware wiki:

Wikis are especially a great tool for collaborative websites, intranets and communities. As you likely know, Wikipedia, for instance, is a wiki, a collaborative, web encyclopedia.
Forums
I can build forums using simplemachines forums, nabble, or phpbb.
With tools like WordPress, Joomla, MediaWiki, etc., the possibilities are
almost endless. With those, we can build you a site
for your band, organization, club, store, business. We can make a news
and media outlet, a blog, an art gallery, a retail outlet. We can build
whatever YOU need!
